Hannah-Rebecca Herzsprung, born on September 7, 1981, in Hamburg, is a prominent German actress known for her impactful performances on both screen and stage. The daughter of actor Bernd Herzsprung and designer Barbara Engel, she embarked on her acting journey in 1997 with the television series Aus heiterem Himmel. Herzsprung truly made her mark in the film industry with her role in Four Minutes (2005), a performance that garnered her the Bavarian Film Award for Best Young Actress.
Herzsprung’s talent was further recognized when she received a German Film Award and a Grimme Award for her work in Das wahre Leben. Her versatility as an actress shone through in notable films such as The Baader Meinhof Complex and The Reader.
