Dennis William Quaid, born on April 9, 1954, is a prominent American actor whose career took off in the 1980s. He gained significant recognition for his performances in a series of successful films that showcased his versatile acting skills. Quaid first captivated audiences as Mike Brody in the thrilling Jaws 3-D (1983) and continued to impress with his role as Alex Gardner in the science fiction film Dreamscape (1984).

His dynamic range was further highlighted in The Big Easy (1987), where he portrayed Remy McSwain, and in the comedic adventure Innerspace (1987) as Tuck Pendleton.
