Biography
Choi Soo-young (Hangul: 최수영), born on February 10, 1990, is a prominent South Korean singer and actress, best known as a member of the iconic girl group Girls' Generation. Soo-young's career began in the early 2000s when she debuted with the Korean-Japanese girl group Route 0, which was active from 2002 to 2003. In 2007, she joined Girls' Generation, where she showcased her talents as a lead dancer, lead rapper, and sub-vocalist, contributing to the group's immense popularity and success in the K-pop industry.
Beyond her musical accomplishments, Soo-young has also carved out a successful acting career. She made her acting debut with a role in the television series The 3rd Hospital in 2012, and subsequently appeared in various dramas, including Dating Agency: Cyrano in 2013, My Spring Days in 2014, Squad 38 in 2016, and Man in the Kitchen from 2017 to 2018.
