Andrzej Seweryn, born on April 25, 1946, is a renowned Polish actor and director, celebrated for his profound impact on the theatrical landscape. With a career spanning decades, he has appeared in over 50 films, primarily within Poland, France, and Germany. Notably, he stands out as one of only three non-French performers to be engaged by the prestigious Comédie-Française in Paris, underscoring his international acclaim.
Currently, Seweryn holds the position of general director at the Polski Theatre in Warsaw, where he continues to influence the arts and mentor emerging talents. His personal life includes three children from three different marriages. His daughter, Maria Seweryn, was born in 1975 from his first marriage to the accomplished Polish actress Krystyna Janda.
