Biography

Natasia Charlotte Demetriou is a talented English-Cypriot comedian, actress, and screenwriter, celebrated for her distinctive contributions to the world of comedy. She gained widespread recognition for her portrayal of Nadja in the FX comedy horror series *What We Do in the Shadows*, which aired from 2019 to 2024. Additionally, she showcased her comedic prowess as Sophie in the Channel 4 sitcom *Stath Lets Flats*, a role she held from 2018 to 2021.

In 2022, Natasia co-created and starred in the BBC sketch series *Ellie & Natasia*, alongside her comedy collaborator Ellie White. The positive reception of the show led to its renewal for a second season in 2023, highlighting Demetriou's growing influence in the comedy landscape.

Born in London to an English mother and a Greek-Cypriot father, Natasia was raised in North London alongside her younger brother, Jamie Demetriou, who is also a comedian and actor. The two frequently work together, bringing their unique comedic styles to the screen. Natasia honed her craft at the University of Leeds, where she studied acting. Before venturing into comedy, she gained experience as a makeup artist, contributing her talents to music videos for the group Boy Better Know.
