Jaime King, born on April 23, 1979, is a prominent American actress and model whose career has spanned two decades. Initially, she modeled under the names Jamie King and James King, a childhood nickname given by her parents due to her agency already representing another well-known model, Jaime Rishar.
Recognized by Complex magazine as "one of the original model-turned-actresses," King graced the covers of prestigious fashion publications like Vogue, Mademoiselle, and Harper's Bazaar. Transitioning from modeling to acting, she started with minor roles in films before landing a significant part in the epic war film Pearl Harbor (2001). Her breakthrough came with her leading role in Bulletproof Monk (2003), which established her as a rising star in Hollywood.
