Jude Ciccolella
Biography
Richard Jude Ciccolella, born on November 30, 1947, is a distinguished American character actor known simply as Jude Ciccolella. He hails from Nassau County, New York, and is an alumnus of Brown University, graduating in 1969, where he was involved in various student productions. Later, he pursued a Master of Fine Arts in theatre at Temple University.
Ciccolella has an impressive filmography that includes notable roles in acclaimed films such as *The Shawshank Redemption* (Mert), *Boys on the Side* (Jerry), and *Star Trek Nemesis* (Romulan Commander Suran). He also appeared in *The Terminal* as Karl Iverson and had roles in the remakes of *The Manchurian Candidate* and *Daredevil*. Television audiences recognize him from guest appearances in popular series like *Law & Order*, *NYPD Blue*, and *CSI: NY*. He gained significant recognition for his recurring role as Mike Novick, Chief of Staff to President David Palmer, in the first two seasons of the hit series *24* (2001-2003), and reprised this role for the show's fourth season (2005).
