Masumi Okada (岡田眞澄, Okada Masumi), born on September 22, 1935, in Nice, France, was a multifaceted talent known for his contributions to the entertainment industry as an actor, singer, comedian, and film producer. Nicknamed "Fanfan," Okada was the son of an artist, Minoru Okada, and a Danish mother, Ingeborg Sevaldsen, who had familial ties to the renowned sculptor Edvard Eriksen, creator of the famous "Mermaid of Copenhagen."

Growing up in an artistic environment, Okada developed a passion for performance early in life. Throughout his career, he gained recognition for his dynamic presence on stage and screen, establishing himself as a beloved figure in Japanese entertainment. His older brother, Taibi "Erick" Okada, also ventured into the industry and made a name for himself as E. H. Eric, famously hosting the Beatles' memorable concert in Tokyo in 1966.
