Ryo Kase (加瀬 亮, Kase Ryō) is a talented Japanese actor known for his compelling performances in film. Born in Japan, he spent his early childhood in Bellevue, Washington, where he lived until the age of seven. This unique upbringing has contributed to his versatile acting style. Kase gained international recognition for his role as Shimizu, a lower-ranked Japanese soldier, in Clint Eastwood's critically acclaimed film, Letters From Iwo Jima.
