Biography
Saburo "Sab" Shimono, born on July 31, 1937, is a distinguished American actor celebrated for his contributions to theater, film, and television. He launched his career on Broadway and in various regional productions, taking on notable roles in musicals such as Mame, Lovely Ladies, Kind Gentlemen, and Pacific Overtures. Shimono's filmography boasts appearances in numerous films, including Midway (1976), Gung Ho (1986), Presumed Innocent (1990), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III (1993), Waterworld (1995), Southland Tales (2006), and Old Dogs (2009). His television work is equally impressive, featuring guest spots in popular series like M*A*S*H, Quincy, M.E., Remington Steele, The X-Files, Seinfeld, Mad Men, and The Blacklist.
