Odessa Young
Biography
Odessa Young, born on January 11, 1998, is a prominent actress from Australia. She gained recognition for her performances in the 2015 films Looking for Grace and The Daughter, the latter of which earned her the prestigious AACTA Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role. Young received additional praise for her role in the 2017 web series High Life. In 2018, she appeared in the films Assassination Nation and A Million Little Pieces. That same year marked her off-Broadway debut in the production Days of Rage.
In 2020, Young took on the role of Frannie in the miniseries The Stand, which is adapted from Stephen King's 1978 novel of the same name. She also shared the screen with Elisabeth Moss in the film Shirley, which explores the life of the celebrated author Shirley Jackson. Young's versatility and talent have established her as a rising star in the entertainment industry, showcasing her abilities across both film and television mediums.
