Bill Oberst Jr. is an American actor renowned for his unsettling presence, frequently portraying complex and sinister characters in both film and television.

A seasoned stage performer, Oberst moved to Hollywood in 2008 and quickly gained recognition in the horror and thriller genres. He starred in the 2011 Hallmark Channel TV movie *The Shunning* and its sequel, *The Confession* (2012), where director Michael Landon Jr. cast him as an Amish farmer in the lead role. His portrayal of General William Tecumseh Sherman in the History Channel's docudrama *Sherman's March* also earned him accolades. Despite these diverse roles, Oberst is predominantly celebrated as a horror genre actor.

His strikingly intense appearance, characterized by his piercing stare and rugged features, has led to performances as a diverse array of monsters, murderers, vampires, and cannibals, often in minimal clothing.
