Biography
Mélanie Doutey is a prominent French actress, born into a creative family as the daughter of filmmaker Alain Doutey and actress Arielle Séménoff. Her career began to flourish with notable roles in films such as Claude Chabrol's *La Fleur du Mal* and *El Lobo*, a gripping narrative about an undercover agent within the Basque separatist group ETA.
In 2006, Doutey garnered critical acclaim and a César Award nomination for Most Promising Actress for her role in *Il ne faut jurer de rien!*, a film adaptation of Alfred de Musset’s play. Although her scene alongside Jean Dujardin and Gilles Lellouche was ultimately omitted from the theatrical release of *Les Infidèles* in 2011, it found a place in select DVD editions, showcasing her versatility.
Doutey’s personal life has also been of interest, as she was in a relationship with actor Gilles Lellouche from 2002 to 2013, with whom she shares a daughter, Ava, born on September 5, 2009. Currently, she is in a relationship with renowned chef Cyril Lignac.
