Heather Burns, born on April 7, 1975, in Chicago, Illinois, is a talented American actress celebrated for her unforgettable portrayal of Miss Rhode Island, Cheryl Frasier, in the beloved comedy films *Miss Congeniality* (2000) and its sequel, *Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous* (2005). Raised in a family with a sports background—her father, Jim Burns, was a basketball player for the Chicago Bulls—Heather pursued her passion for the arts at New York University's prestigious Tisch School of the Arts.
Throughout her career, Burns has shared the screen with Sandra Bullock in several films, including *Two Weeks Notice* (2002) and the *Miss Congeniality* series. In addition to her film work, she has made notable appearances on television, including a recurring role alongside Zach Galifianakis in the HBO series *Bored to Death*.
