Julie Cox, born on April 24, 1973, in Ely, England, is a talented English actress widely recognized for her portrayal of Princess Irulan in the acclaimed Dune miniseries on the Sci Fi channel, which aired in 2000, followed by its sequel, Children of Dune, in 2003.
Cox's career features a variety of notable performances across film and television. In 2007, she took on a prominent role in The Riddle, sharing the screen with distinguished actors such as Vinnie Jones, Sir Derek Jacobi, and Vanessa Redgrave. She showcased her versatility further in The Oxford Murders (2008), where she acted alongside Elijah Wood and John Hurt, and in the action film Second in Command (2006) with Jean-Claude Van Damme.
