Daniel Martín (May 12, 1935 – September 28, 2009) was a prominent Spanish actor celebrated for his contributions to film. He gained significant recognition for his portrayal of Rafael in the acclaimed 1963 film *Los Tarantos*, directed by Francisco Rovira Beleta. The film, which featured notable performances from Antonio Gades and Carmen Amaya, earned a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film at its 36th edition, marking a high point in Martín's career.
In addition to his work in *Los Tarantos*, Martín showcased his versatility in the Spaghetti Western genre. He took on the role of Condor in the 1974 film *Blood River*, sharing the screen with actors like Fabio Testi, John Ireland, and Rosalba Neri. His earlier work also included a notable appearance as Julián in the classic 1964 film *A Fistful of Dollars*, a cornerstone of the Western genre that further solidified his reputation as a talented actor.
