Biography

Sidharth Malhotra is a prominent Indian actor and former model known for his significant contributions to Hindi cinema. He embarked on his modeling career at the young age of 18, but soon found himself yearning for more creative satisfaction. This led him to work as an assistant director under renowned filmmaker Karan Johar for the 2010 film *My Name Is Khan*.

Malhotra made his foray into acting with a lead role in Johar's *Student of the Year* in 2012, a performance that earned him a nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. His career quickly gained momentum with his portrayal of a determined entrepreneur in the critically acclaimed comedy-drama *Hasee Toh Phasee* (2014).
