Biography

Jennifer Anne Garner, born on April 17, 1972, is a prominent actress from the United States. Hailing from Houston, Texas, and raised in Charleston, West Virginia, she pursued theater studies at Denison University before embarking on a career in acting. Her initial foray into the entertainment industry began as an understudy with the Roundabout Theatre Company in New York City. Garner made her on-screen debut in 1995 with a role in the television adaptation of Danielle Steel's novel Zoya. She then appeared in various guest roles on television and supporting roles in films, including a notable part in the teen drama series Time of Your Life (1999-2000) and in the war film Pearl Harbor (2001).

Garner rose to fame for her compelling portrayal of CIA agent Sydney Bristow in the ABC series Alias (2001-2006), a performance that earned her a Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Television Series Drama, a Screen Actors Guild Award, and multiple Emmy nominations.
