William "Bill" Moseley, born on November 11, 1951, is an accomplished American actor and musician renowned for his roles in a variety of cult classic horror films. He gained significant recognition for his portrayal of Chop Top in the iconic "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2," and has since appeared in notable titles such as "House of 1000 Corpses," "The Devil's Rejects," and "Repo! The Genetic Opera." Beyond his acting career, Moseley has collaborated musically with guitarist Buckethead in the band Cornbugs, further showcasing his diverse talents.

Raised in Barrington Hills, Illinois, Moseley was born in Stamford, Connecticut, to Virginia Gillette, a journalist, and S. D. Moseley, a distinguished member of Yale Corporation and captain of the 1942 Yale football team. His family's legacy includes his grandfather, George Moseley, who was also an All-American football player at Yale. Bill pursued higher education at Yale University, where he further honed his skills.
