Biography
James Thomas Patrick 'J.T.' Walsh (September 28, 1943 - February 27, 1998) was a talented American actor celebrated for his remarkable range and depth in various roles across film, television, and theater.
Before launching his acting career, Walsh honed his skills behind the scenes as a stagehand and set builder. He made his television and film debut in the early 1980s, quickly earning acclaim for his compelling portrayals, often embodying authority figures or antagonists with a unique intensity.
Walsh's career gained significant momentum in the late 1980s and early 1990s, with standout performances in films such as *Good Morning, Vietnam* (1987), *A Few Good Men* (1992), and *Sling Blade* (1996). Known for his commanding presence, he left an indelible mark in both lead and supporting roles.
