Biography
Alvin Nathaniel Joiner IV, widely known by his stage name Xzibit, was born on September 18, 1974. This American rapper, actor, and television host gained significant recognition as the charismatic host of MTV's hit series Pimp My Ride, which catapulted him into mainstream fame. Prior to this breakthrough, Xzibit established himself within the West Coast hip-hop scene, making a notable debut with his album At the Speed of Life. He continued to build on his success with subsequent projects like Restless, Man vs. Machine, and Weapons of Mass Destruction, collaborating with renowned artists such as Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Method Man, Game, and 50 Cent.
Although his sixth studio album, Full Circle, did not achieve the desired impact, Xzibit expanded his career into acting. He has appeared in a variety of notable films, including 8 Mile, xXx: State of the Union, Hoodwinked, Gridiron Gang, The X-Files: I Want to Believe, and Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans. Through his versatile talents in music and film, Xzibit has made a lasting mark on both industries, showcasing his ability to evolve and adapt throughout his career.
