Phoebe Jane Elizabeth Tonkin, born on July 12, 1989, is a talented Australian actress and model, celebrated for her diverse roles in both television and film. She garnered widespread recognition for her portrayal of Cleo Sertori in the popular Australian series H2O: Just Add Water. Despite not being a natural swimmer, she dedicated herself to improving her skills during the show's pre-production phase. Tonkin made a notable appearance at the Nickelodeon UK Kids' Choice Awards on October 20, 2007, where she presented the award for Best Band alongside her fellow H2O stars, Claire Holt and Cariba Heine.

In addition to her iconic role in H2O, Tonkin showcased her acting range in the Australian drama Packed to the Rafters and played a significant role as Fiona Maxwell in the film Tomorrow, When the War Began.
