Haruo Tanaka (March 25, 1912 – February 21, 1992) was a prominent Japanese film actor recognized for his memorable supporting roles throughout a remarkable career lasting seventy years.
Tanaka's journey in cinema began post-World War II, during which he collaborated with major film studios such as Toho and Shintoho. His talent soon distinguished him as a character actor with a distinctive flair, allowing him to leave a lasting impact on the industry.
