Sandra Annette Bullock, born on July 26, 1964, is a prominent American actress and film producer whose career has made her one of Hollywood's most beloved figures. Recognized as the highest-paid actress in both 2010 and 2014, Bullock's versatile filmography includes both comedic and dramatic roles, earning her numerous accolades, including an Academy Award and a Golden Globe Award. In 2010, she was honored as one of Time's 100 Most Influential People.

Bullock began her acting career with a small role in the 1987 thriller Hangmen, but her breakout came with the action film Demolition Man in 1993. Her rise to stardom was solidified with the blockbuster Speed in 1994, which propelled her into leading roles in romantic comedies like While You Were Sleeping (1995) and the dramas A Time to Kill (1996) and Hope Floats (1998).
