Zakes Makgona Mokae (August 5, 1934 – September 11, 2009) was a renowned South African actor celebrated for his impactful work on both stage and screen. Mokae gained notable acclaim for his performance in Athol Fugard's powerful play "Master Harold"...and the Boys, which earned him the Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Play in 1982.
