Pier Angeli, born Anna Maria Pierangeli on June 19, 1932, in Italy, was a distinguished actress, singer, and model whose career spanned across American, British, and European cinema. She made her American film debut in 1951 with a leading role in "Teresa," a performance that earned her the Golden Globe Award for Young Star of the Year - Actress, marking a significant milestone in her early career.
Throughout the 1950s and 1960s, Angeli captivated audiences with her compelling performances in a variety of notable films. Among her prominent works are "Domani è troppo tardi" (1950), which showcased her dramatic abilities, "Somebody Up There Likes Me" (1956), where she starred alongside Paul Newman, and "The Angry Silence" (1960), a film that highlighted her versatility as an actress.
