Starletta DuPois, born on July 18, 1941, is a distinguished American actress whose impressive body of work spans over 90 films and television shows. A native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, DuPois pursued her education at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, where she earned her degree in 1968. She later honed her craft by obtaining a Master of Fine Arts in Theatre Arts from the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television.

DuPois made her Broadway debut in 1974 with the short-lived production "What the Wine-Sellers Buy." That same year, she transitioned to film, landing minor roles in notable movies such as "Death Wish" and "The Gambler." Her talent shone brightly in 1976 when she starred in the Off-Broadway hit "So Nice, They Named it Twice," further establishing her presence in the theater scene.
