Biography
Monica Dolan is an accomplished actor, recognized for her remarkable contributions to television, film, and theater, earning both BAFTA and Olivier Awards. Born in March 1969 to an Irish family, she grew up with her sister Gabrielle. Monica pursued her passion for drama at the prestigious Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, where she graduated in 1991. Soon after, she embarked on a successful career in television.
Renowned for her versatility, Monica often takes on complex roles that explore the more sinister aspects of human nature. Her portrayal of the real-life stalker Maria Marchese in *U Be Dead* (2009) showcased her ability to delve into dark characters. She also delivered a chilling performance as the seemingly innocent yet lethal Miss Gilchrist in the acclaimed Poirot adaptation *Poirot: After the Funeral* (2006).
