Biography
Taylor Daniel Lautner, born on February 11, 1992, is an accomplished American actor and model, most recognized for his portrayal of the shapeshifter Jacob Black in the iconic Twilight Saga film series.
Lautner's foray into acting began with minor roles in sitcoms such as The Bernie Mac Show (2003) and My Wife and Kids (2004), alongside voice work in animated series like What's New, Scooby-Doo? (2005) and Danny Phantom (2005). He made his film debut in Cheaper by the Dozen 2 (2005) and showcased his talents in The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl in 3-D the same year. In 2011, he took on a leading role in the action thriller Abduction.
From 2014 to 2018, Lautner starred in the BBC comedy series Cuckoo, playing the son of the main character. In 2016, he became Dr. Cassidy Cascade in the second season of FOX's dark comedy Scream Queens.
During the late 2000s, Lautner emerged as a teen sensation and sex symbol, notably transforming his physique for his role in Twilight's subsequent films. His striking appearance garnered extensive media attention; in 2010, he was ranked second on Glamour's "The 50 Sexiest Men" list and fourth on People’s "Most Amazing Bodies" list.
