Ryûdô Uzaki (宇崎 竜童), born Shuji Kimura on February 23, 1946, in Fushimi Ward, Kyoto City, is a multifaceted Japanese artist known for his contributions as a singer, composer, actor, and film director. He gained notable recognition as the frontman of the Down Town Boogie-Woogie Band, a trailblazing group that played a pivotal role in the Japanese rock scene of the 1970s, helping to shape the musical landscape of the era.
