Leslie Dwyer was an accomplished English actor renowned for his performances in film and television. He gained significant recognition for his portrayal of Mr. Partridge, the cantankerous Punch and Judy puppeteer who harbored a strong aversion to children, in the beloved BBC series Hi-de-Hi, which aired from 1980 to 1988.

Born on 29th June 1916, Dwyer had a diverse career that spanned several decades, showcasing his talents in both comedic and dramatic roles.
