Biography

Dodie Brown, an accomplished American actress from Louisiana, is the youngest of four siblings. Her love for performing arts blossomed early, showcasing her talent in community musicals such as "Oklahoma," "Oliver," and "The Music Man" with the Richland Players Theatre Group. Dodie pursued higher education at Northeast Louisiana University, graduating in 1994, while also cheering for both her alma mater and the Shreveport Mudbugs, a professional hockey team.

In 2006, Dodie achieved a significant milestone in her career when she was cast by acclaimed director Frank Darabont in the film adaptation of Stephen King's "The Mist." In a heartwarming twist, she shared the screen with her daughter, Taylor, who was just six years old at the time. Throughout her career, Dodie has established herself as a prominent figure in the Southeast acting scene, noted for her versatility and dedication to her craft.
