Pooja Hegde is a talented Indian actress and model. She initially gained recognition as a participant in beauty pageants, where she achieved the title of second runner-up in the Miss Universe India 2010 contest. Her acting career commenced with her debut in the Tamil superhero film Mugamoodi, directed by Mysskin, which was released in 2012. Following this, she made her mark in the Telugu film industry with roles in Oka Laila Kosam and Mukunda, both of which were released in 2014. Pooja's rising popularity led her to land the lead role in the historical drama Mohenjo Daro, directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, which premiered in 2016.
