Biography
Reiner Schöne, born on January 19, 1942, is a prominent German actor celebrated for his diverse roles across various genres. He gained recognition as Dukhat in the acclaimed series Babylon 5 and portrayed Shinnok in Mortal Kombat: Annihilation. Schöne also appeared as Esoqq in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "Allegiance" and played Kolitar in the sci-fi series Sliders. His film credits include a notable performance as Karl Freytag in The Eiger Sanction. Additionally, he lent his voice to the character Optimus Prime in the German versions of the live-action Transformers films, further showcasing his versatility in both on-screen and voice acting.
