Warner Leroy Baxter (March 29, 1889 – May 7, 1951) was a prominent American actor whose career spanned from the 1910s to the 1940s. He gained widespread acclaim for his portrayal of The Cisco Kid in the 1928 film *In Old Arizona*, a performance that earned him the Academy Award for Best Actor at the second Academy Awards. Baxter became synonymous with charming, womanizing Latin bandit characters in western films, often reprising the role of The Cisco Kid and similar figures throughout the 1930s.
