Michel Delahaye
Biography
Michel Delahaye entered the world in 1929 in Vertou, a town near Nantes in the Bretagne region of France. He grew up in a devout household, influenced by his father, a former pilot who had served in World War I. His formative years were marked by the challenging environment of World War II, during which he attended a Jesuit private school in Saint Malo amidst the German occupation. This experience shaped his character and worldview. In 1951, Delahaye fulfilled his military obligations by serving in Germany, marking a significant chapter in his life as he navigated the complexities of post-war Europe. Through these formative experiences, he developed a strong sense of identity and resilience that would guide him in his future endeavors.
