Biography

Josh Lee Holloway, born on July 20, 1969, is an acclaimed American actor celebrated for his compelling performances, particularly as James "Sawyer" Ford in the iconic series *Lost* and as Will Bowman in the sci-fi drama *Colony*. Recently, he made waves with a recurring role in the third season of the popular western series *Yellowstone*.

Holloway's early life began in San Jose, California, as the second of four boys to a nurse and a surveyor. At the age of two, his family relocated to the scenic Blue Ridge Mountains of Georgia, where he spent his formative years in Free Home. He attended Cherokee High School in Canton, Georgia, graduating in 1987. Although he briefly studied at the University of Georgia, financial constraints led him to pursue a career in Los Angeles, where he initially found success as a model for prestigious brands like Dolce & Gabbana, Calvin Klein, and Donna Karan.

His foray into acting commenced with his appearance as a "Good Looking Guy" on the show *Angel* in 1999, followed by roles in *Doctor Benny*, *Mi Amigo*, and the notable Sci-Fi Channel movie *Sabretooth*. Holloway's breakout moment came with *Lost*, a series that not only catapulted him to stardom but also solidified his status as a prominent figure in the entertainment industry.
