Majel Barrett-Roddenberry, originally named Majel Leigh Hudec, was born on February 23, 1932, and passed away on December 18, 2008. An accomplished American actress and producer, Barrett-Roddenberry is widely recognized for her portrayal of Nurse Christine Chapel in the iconic original Star Trek series.
