Yvonne De Carlo (September 1, 1922 – January 8, 2007) was a renowned actress who was born in Canada and later became an iconic figure in American film and television. Her prolific career spanned over six decades, peaking during the 1940s and 1950s, when she delivered some of her most memorable performances. Notable roles include Anna Marie in the 1945 film "Salome Where She Danced," Anna in the 1949 classic "Criss Cross," and Sephora, the wife of Moses, in the epic "The Ten Commandments" (1956) alongside Charlton Heston. Additionally, she starred as Amantha Starr in "Band of Angels" (1957), sharing the screen with legendary actor Clark Gable.
In the 1960s, De Carlo embraced a new venture when she took on the iconic role of Lily Munster in the CBS television series "The Munsters." This beloved show featured her alongside Fred Gwynne and Al Lewis, and it solidified her status in the world of television.
