Leslie Odom Jr. (born on August 6, 1981) is a multifaceted American performer who excels as both an actor and singer. He has made significant contributions to Broadway, television, and film, and has released two acclaimed jazz albums as a solo artist. Odom Jr. is particularly celebrated for his groundbreaking portrayal of Aaron Burr in the hit Broadway show Hamilton, a role that earned him the Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical in 2016, as well as recognition with a Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album as a lead vocalist.
