Biography
Joseph Maxwell Dempsie, born on June 22, 1987, is a prominent English actor celebrated for his memorable performances in television. He gained widespread recognition for portraying Chris Miles in the E4 teen comedy-drama series Skins, which aired from 2007 to 2008. Additionally, he is well-known for his role as Gendry Baratheon in the iconic fantasy series Game of Thrones, appearing from 2011 to 2013 and then again from 2017 to 2019.
Before rising to fame, Dempsie built his acting credentials through various roles in medical dramas, including Peak Practice in 2000 and Doctors from 2001 to 2003. He also featured in the 2003 films One for the Road and Heartlands. His talent was further showcased in the acclaimed series This Is England '86 (2010) and its sequel This Is England '90 (2015).
