Efrem Zimbalist Jr.
Biography
Efrem Zimbalist Jr. (November 30, 1918 – May 2, 2014) was a prominent American actor celebrated for his leading performances in the classic television shows 77 Sunset Strip and The F.B.I. He gained additional recognition for his role as "Dandy Jim Buckley" in the series Maverick. Zimbalist was also the voice behind the iconic character Alfred Pennyworth in Batman: The Animated Series and its related spin-offs. His extensive voice acting repertoire included portraying Doctor Octopus in the 1990s animated adaptation of Spider-Man, as well as lending his voice to the character in the Spider-Man action-adventure video game released for PC, Dreamcast, and PlayStation in 2000. Additionally, he voiced Justin Hammer in the second season of the 1994 Iron Man animated series. Zimbalist's contributions to television and voice acting have left a lasting impact, earning him a cherished place in the industry.
