Biography
Elias Koteas, born on March 11, 1961, is a prominent Canadian actor celebrated for his diverse performances across television and film. He gained widespread recognition for his portrayal of Alvin "Al" Olinsky in the acclaimed series Chicago P.D. and as Tom True in Goliath. Koteas has also made a significant impact in films, playing memorable roles such as Lionel Shrike in Now You See Me (2013), Col. Marks in Combat Hospital, and James Skinner in The Killing. His filmography boasts notable performances, including Laeddis in Shutter Island (2010), Monsieur Gateau in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008), and Jack Payne in Shooter (2007). Additionally, he starred as Peter Brandt in Collateral Damage (2002) and Capt. James Stars in The Thin Red Line (1998).
