Dustin Neil Diamond (January 7, 1977 – February 1, 2021) was an American actor and stand-up comedian renowned for his role as Samuel "Screech" Powers in the beloved Saved by the Bell franchise. His journey in the entertainment industry began at a young age while attending Zion Lutheran School in Anaheim, California. In fifth grade, he made his television debut as the quirky, endearing character Screech in the series Good Morning, Miss Bliss (1987). This show later evolved into California High School (1989) and spawned various movies and spin-offs that further solidified his connection to the character.
