Lara Pulver
Biography
Lara Pulver, a talented actress hailing from Kent, UK, embarked on her artistic journey by studying drama with the National Youth Music Theatre (NYMT) before earning a BA Hons degree in Theatre. Her remarkable theatre career is highlighted by her Laurence Olivier Award nomination for her stunning performance as Lucille Frank in Rob Ashford's acclaimed production of *Parade* at The Donmar Warehouse. This role allowed her to showcase her talent on an international stage when she reprised it at The Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles, where she starred opposite TR Knight, earning widespread critical acclaim.
Pulver made her on-screen debut in 2008 with the BBC's popular series *Robin Hood*, where she played the character Isabella of Gisbourne. This show quickly became a hit, captivating audiences not only in the UK but also in the United States, where it aired on BBC America.
In addition to her television work, Lara recently completed filming for *The Special Relationship*, a film directed by Peter Morgan, known for his work on *Frost/Nixon* and *The Queen*, where she acted alongside renowned stars Michael Sheen and Dennis Quaid.
