Megumi Hayashibara (林原 めぐみ, Hayashibara Megumi), born on March 30, 1967, in Tokyo, is a renowned Japanese voice actress, singer, radio host, and lyricist. Currently, she is associated with Aksent and is affectionately known by her fans as Megu-san, Megu-nee, Bara-san, Kakka, and Daijin.

Hayashibara has made a significant mark in the anime industry, with her most notable roles including the female Ranma Saotome in "Ranma ½," the enigmatic Rei Ayanami in "Neon Genesis Evangelion," and the charming Faye Valentine in "Cowboy Bebop." Her portrayal of Lina Inverse in "Slayers" and Ai Haibara in "Detective Conan" further showcase her versatile vocal talents.
