Goldie Jeanne Hawn, born on November 21, 1945, is a celebrated American actress, director, producer, and occasional singer. Hawn began her career as a dancer, showcasing her talent in New York before transitioning to Los Angeles. She gained widespread recognition as a cast member of the iconic late 1960s television show, Laugh-In, where her comedic flair and memorable bikini-clad antics made her a household name.
Her film career took off when she won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the 1969 film Cactus Flower, alongside Walter Matthau. Hawn continued to impress audiences with her performances in notable films such as The Sugarland Express (1974), directed by Steven Spielberg, and the box office hit Private Benjamin in 1980, which solidified her status as a leading actress.
Throughout her career, she has starred in a variety of successful films, including Shampoo (1975), Overboard (1987) with Kurt Russell, Bird on a Wire (1990), Death Becomes Her (1992), Housesitter (1992), The First Wives Club (1996), and The Banger Sisters (2002).
