Biography
Sabine Timoteo, originally named Sabine Hagenbüchle, was born on March 25, 1975, in Bern, Switzerland. A talented actress and former dancer, she is proficient in multiple languages, including German, French, English, Italian, and Spanish.
Timoteo's early dedication to dance led her to win the prestigious Prix de Lausanne, recognizing her as a "best young dancer." She made her cinematic debut in Philip Gröning’s film, *L'Amour, l'Argent, l'Amour*, which was filmed in 1996 but released four years later, earning her the Swiss Film Award for Best Actress. Prior to fully committing to her acting career, she spent time training as a professional cook in Bern from 1997 to 2000.
After marrying, she adopted the name Sabine Timoteo, under which she developed a successful film career. Her performances in acclaimed films such as *Ghosts* (2005), *The Free Will* (2006), *Color of the Ocean* (2012), *Cyanide* (2013), *Futuro Beach* (2014), *The Wonders* (2014), and *Center of My World* (2016) have solidified her status in the industry.
