Minami Tanaka (田中 美海, Tanaka Minami), born on January 22, 1996, in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, is a talented voice actress represented by 81 Produce. Known for her dynamic vocal range and diverse character portrayals, Tanaka has made significant strides in the voice acting industry since her debut.

Her career took off in 2012 when she triumphed in the "Hikari no Tenshi Chara Voice Actor Audition," a collaboration between NTT East and Koe Club, earning her the role of "Frengel," the mascot for FLET'S Hikari WiFi. Later that year, she participated in the "Wake Up, Girls! AUDITION" hosted by Avex and 81 Produce, where she and six others were selected to form the seiyū unit "Wake Up, Girls!" This group became widely recognized, leading to a Special Award at the 9th Seiyū Awards in 2015.

Tanaka's versatility was showcased in 2016 as she voiced multiple characters, including Non Manaka, Junon, Pinon, and Kanon in the popular anime series "PriPara." Her remarkable talent earned her the Rookie Actress Award at the 11th Seiyū Awards in 2017. Notably, in 2019, she ranked first in terms of voice actor event appearances, highlighting her popularity and dedication within the industry.
