Jeffrey Hunter (November 25, 1926 – May 27, 1969) was a talented American actor renowned for his contributions to both film and television. Best remembered for his role as Martin Pawley in the iconic Western, *The Searchers*, Hunter showcased his versatility across various genres. He garnered acclaim for his portrayal of Jesus Christ in the epic biblical drama, *King of Kings* (1961), and shared the screen with Spencer Tracy in the critically acclaimed film, *The Last Hurrah* (1958). Hunter made his film debut in the gripping suspense thriller, *Fourteen Hours* (1955).
